Anyone who’s ever been dumped, let alone on national TV, will enjoy this book! The main character Joey is a genuinely sweet closeted guy who not only gets dumped on national TV, but outed as well to his family and the bigots in his small southern town. Overnight his life goes from one of dreams of HEA with his supposed boyfriend Riker to one of pariahdom and hate crimes. His salvation lies in coming to the attention of famous writer Troy Steele, who himself was publically dumped and sees in Joey the means of his revenge against both their exes, who are now a couple. It does not take a crystal ball to know Joey and Troy are meant for each other. The rough road of their relationship just makes the ending even sweeter. I wish I could have gotten as perfect a revenge on my own cheating ex!
